Ann Smith is the President of APLA for 2021 and the Program Co-Chair for the APLA 2021 Conference. She is the Atlantic Region representative on CFLA-FCAB. She is a Science Librarian and both the Scholarly Communications & OER Co-ordinator at Acadia University. She is the Theory & Research Section Editor for Partnership: the Canadian Journal of Library and Information Practice and Research a peer-reviewed open access journal.
